Kitchen Cabinet Material
Normally solid wood, particle board, plywood, sandwich panel, MDF is used as kitchen cabinets material.
Particle Board
Particleboard is commonly used as cabinet carcass, it’s cheaper than solid wood or plywood. Thickness commonly used is 1/2” or 5/8” or 3/4”, with melamine on surface.
MDF
Normally used as kitchen cabinet doors, can be MDF paint doors or MDF themofoil doors.
Solid Wood
Solid wood birch is most popular, grain looks like maple but price cheaper. Can be used for stain color which wood grain is visible. Door stile and rail width 3”, 2 1/2” and can be customized too. Face frame is birch or rubberwood.
Normally used as door stile/rail, face frame, drawer box.
Plywood
Plywood is commonly used as cabinet carcass, thickness is 3/4” or 5/8” or 1/2”, mainly depends on cabinet construction.

Rubber wood
Rubber wood is used for drawer box in Southeast countries, some as face frame too, with UV coat to hit project budget.
